The “Bianco&Noir” cycle, which includes five films to be shown between June 6th and 11th, will feature must-see classics such as Sunset Boulevard and Double Indemnity, both by Billy Wilder, or stories of duplicitous dark ladies, such as Gilda by Charles Vidor and The Lady from Shanghai by Orson Welles. The programme also features one of the most famous films in Italian cinema, Ossessione, Luchino Visconti’s debut as a director, his remake of The Postman Always Rings Twice by Tay Garnett.
