From June 23rd to 30th, the series “Siamo donne”, which features seven films, will showcase remarkable female characters and unforgettable actresses. The cycle will be inaugurated by the film that gave the series its title, We, the Women (Siamo donne), a film in which six famous actresses all appear on the screen: Alida Valli, Ingrid Bergman, Isa Miranda, Anna Magnani, Anna Amendola and Emma Danieli. The programme will also feature exceptional ensemble films from Speriamo che sia femmina by Mario Monicelli to Little Women by Greta Gerwig, from Le ragazze di Piazza di Spagna by Luciano Emmer to 8 Women by François Ozon and Belle ma povere by Dino Risi. The series will be completed by Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Blake Edwards, who directs the melancholically graceful Audrey Hepburn.
