During the month of January 2025, Casa del Cinema will host five screenings of Jazzy by Morissa Maltz (The Unknown Country), winner of the Best Director award at the last Roome Film Fest. Produced by Lily Gladstone (winner of an Oscar® for The Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese), the “film of the month” is a coming-of-age novel in the land of the Oglala Lakota: six years in the life and friendship between two young native American girls, a simple and intense story, part documentary and part fiction, like the best of contemporary cinema.
