The new event intends to offer the public precious cinematographic cultural heritage preserved by the Cineteca Nazionale, to promote all forms of knowledge related to preservation and restoration, to explore the multiple forms of creativity linked to research and edition of the repertoire and cinema of the past, to open the possibility of seeing restored cinematographic masterpieces to all spectators and to create a yard of brightness and attention among all film archives in the world on the importance of the work of cinema preservation; at the same time, it intends to highlight all the souls of the historical Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (training, preservation, research).
