It is the night between March 21 & 22, 1956. Anna Magnani is waiting to hear if she won the Oscar. She is agitated, can’t sleep: She puts on her coat on top of her silk black and she goes out into the night of Rome. On the other side of the city a young woman worried goes out to meet her. At sunrise from all corners Rome screams the victory of Nannarella. What happened after?
