Following the success of the “Winter Tales” series, a new series “Spring Tales” will be held from April 12th through 30th, an anthology of seven films dedicated to the cinema of rebirth and transformation. The programme will begin with Early Spring by Yasujirō Ozu, the author of an extraordinary film in which feelings and passions seem to change with the passing of seasons. In this sense, the series will host another unforgettable masterpiece by the Japanese master filmmaker, Late Spring, a profound reflection upon the themes of modernity and tradition, happiness and sacrifice. The public is also invited to see the works of great filmmakers such as Tim Burton (Big Fish), Nanni Moretti (Aprile), Eric Rohmer (A Tale of Springtime), Vincente Minnelli (Brigadoon) and Olivier Assayas (Something in the Air).
