Paola Cortellesi was born in Rome in 1973. She is an actress, a screenwriter, an author and a director, and one of the most dynamic and versatile artists on the Italian scene. She made her acting début on stage in 1995 and over the years has received some of the most prestigious awards in theatre, TV and cinema. She has worked with famous names of Italian cinema, such as Luigi Comencini and Nino Manfredi, and has featured in both mainstream and auteurial films. He made his debut as a director with C’è ancora domani, a box-office hit that premiered at the 18th Rome Film Fest.
